The Relationship of Mankind to the Gods

In the old Greek myth, God created us. They are mortal and strong, they rule the world. Although they seems like they are on top of us but they are very like human. They love each other, they hate each other, and they were very similer to human. Or, in the other hand, we are very similer to gods. In the Gilgamesh, because of people's actions twords to god were very unforgiveable, so gods sent flood to the world. People in the old ages thought the natural disaster was caused by gods. Important thing is we made the gods. Gods were created by our thoughts and people in the old days couldn't find why there are sun. So they created gods to explain the facts that they couldn't explain with their technology. according to people in the old days human and gods are very similer and only different between us is that gods are mortal and they can cause natural disaster.

Gilgamesh

Although he became human, but I personally want to insist that he is not a human. Gilhamesh was one of the best hero and also he united his land, but he also killed lots of people. So, we can't say he was 'good' but we can say that he was a great general. Also, he is mainly not a human. It is same as a monkey did lots of work done so it can be a human. In order to him to become a ture human, I think he should learn the right of the each person's opinion and thoughts. Also, he should learn how to treat people nice. In the book, you can find out that he acts like a sevage and even his friend is so agressive that he decided to become Gilgamesh's friend after Gilgamesh defeated him. I think the whole idea of the book is fruitless and vain life of Great Gilgamesh's end.

New Simple poem

To Helen By Edgar Allan Poe

Helen, thy beauty is to me
Like those Nicéan barks of yore,
That gently, o'er a perfumed sea,
The weary, way-worn wanderer bore
To his own native shore.

On desperate seas long wont to roam,
Thy hyacinth hair, thy classic face,
Thy Naiad airs have brought me home
To the glory that was Greece,
And the grandeur that was Rome.

Lo! in yon brilliant window-niche
How statue-like I see thee stand,
The agate lamp within thy hand!
Ah, Psyche, from the regions which
Are Holy-Land!
